Frequently asked questions.

Orders & Shipping

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. Every piece is made to order in Calgary and ships nationwide in Canada. Local pickup can be requested at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Usually, yes. Email me before checkout, and I’ll confirm the timing/costs. Duties/taxes and tariffs are your country’s circus.

PLEASE NOTE: We currently accept sales from the US on a case-by-case basis. As the tariffs in your country continue to shift, we will provide you with the most up-to-date information on what to expect when receiving an order from Canada.

How long will my order take?

Custom work turnaround is determined on a case-by-case basis for each client. To start the conversation, please fill out this request form:

Made-to-order timeline:

I ship in two small-batch runs each month to maintain high-quality work.

  • Orders placed 1st–15th (by 11:59 PM MT)ships by the 22nd.

  • Orders placed 16th–end of month (by 11:59 PM MT)ships by the 7th of the following month.
(Weekends/stat holidays can shift a day. You’ll receive tracking information when it ships.)

Can I change my order after I’ve paid?

If casting/fabrication hasn’t started, usually yes. After metal is poured, changes may incur a fee, or it may not be possible.

Do you offer gift packaging or notes?

Yes—every order ships in minimal, reusable packaging. Add a gift note at checkout, and I’ll include it. Some collections come with special packaging; any extras are listed on the product page.

Materials, Craft & Care

What metals do you use?

Solid sterling silver, 10k, or 14k gold.

No plating/vermeil.

Hand-finished and small-batch cast.

Are your pieces nickel-free?

Sterling and yellow gold contain no nickel. Please let me know about any specific sensitivities you may have before placing your order, if you are unsure.

Where are the pieces made?

In my Calgary studio. Each piece of jewellery starts as either:

An original wax/sculptural model that is then cast and finished by me.

Wire or sheet that is forged and finished at my bench.

How do I care for my jewellery?

Wear it. When it dulls, rinse with mild soap and water, then pat dry. Use a soft polishing cloth on high spots. Avoid wearing when using household chemicals (including skincare) and only use ultrasonics on pieces without stones or oxidized details.

Can you repair or resize?

Often, yes. I prioritize my work; outside repairs are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Sizing & Options

How do I choose a chain and length?

This is a tricky question for me to answer, but an easier one for you to determine, without relying on what you see online, because the answers usually involve standard sizing. I’m sorry, but what does that even mean? The best approach is to measure your neck and then proceed accordingly. A choker or collar length is about 2” more than your neck size, but again, it is highly recommended that you measure. Fortunately, our handcrafted chains can be made to your exact size.

What if I don’t know my ring size?

The most accurate way to determine your size is to get sized at a jeweller. This is a free service at any major jewellery store.

We can also mail you a sizer. Just reach out and request one.

Can I personalize a piece?

Selective engraving and stone setting are possible on some designs, depending on the surface or structure. Please email through this form, as this would be considered a custom order.

Custom & Heirloom

Do you take custom commissions?

Yes! Ceremonial pieces, heirloom redesign, one-offs. See here for the details.

TL;DR: Short consult → quote → 50% deposit. Typical timeline 10–12 weeks.

What’s possible with heirloom redesign—and what isn’t?

I’ll be honest about structural limits, stone wear, and budget. Sometimes a partial reuse or fresh build is safer.

Can you make something from gold or silver I already have?

  • Silver: No. Silver isn’t eternally reusable; repeated melting compromises strength/finish.

  • Gold: Sometimes. If clearly hallmarked (10k/14k/18k), I’ll verify karat/alloy first. Reuse depends on test results and the design.

  • Cost reality: Client-supplied metal/stones doesn’t automatically reduce price. Disassembly, testing, cleaning, and reworking are billed at my hourly rate; refining fees may apply.

  • Liability: I’m not responsible for outcomes of client-supplied metals or stones. Proceeding means you accept risks (unsetting/resetting, heat, alloy variability).

Can you copy a piece I saw elsewhere?

Absolutely not.
Feel free to bring references to help you better describe shapes, scale, and settings, but not for replication..

Ethics, Studio & Practicalities

Where do you source materials?

From reputable Canadian suppliers with traceable sterling/gold options. I’ll tell you what I know and won’t pretend to know what I don’t.

Can I visit the studio?

By appointment. (I’m feral while fabricating.)

Do you offer wholesale or collaborations?

Selective wholesale and editorial/costume collabs—pitch with clear timelines and usage.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Online: all Major cards.

Custom: e-transfer or credit card. A 50% deposit is required to initiate the custom order; the remaining balance is due upon completion and before shipping.

Do you charge sales tax?

As required by your Canadian province/region. Calculated at checkout.

This is a frequently asked question?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
