Bramble Lee Pryde is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice
moves between sculpture, jewellery, painting, sound,
writing, observation, cultural critique and participation.
We make objects, rituals, systems and stories to make
sense of things. Sometimes they work. Sometimes
they make things considerably stranger.
CURRENT PROJECT: STRANGE COMPANIONS
STRANGE COMPANIONS is a durational interdisciplinary art project about living alongside uncertainty.
Developed over four years, it has evolved from a small group of sculptural Dreadlings into an expanding world of sculpture, painting, sound, symbolic language, divination, writing and participation. Through companions, conditions and unresolved states, the work considers what happens when certainty fails, and life remains contradictory, unfinished and occasionally absurd.

Through high craft and cultural critique, Subject Object considers how objects become meaningful and precious, through wear, memory and ritual.
